Community friends Tanzania was founded in 2023 by a group of Tanzanians who sees the need of professional development in different areas of expertise by combining modern and indigenous knowledge through volunteering program such as in Education, health care and humanitarian activities.

The Story of Community Friends Tanzania
Where Giving Time Becomes Lifelong Impact
Community Friends Tanzania was born from a simple truth: communities thrive when people come together to share, support, and grow.
Founded by a group of passionate Tanzanians who believed in the power of collaboration, the organization was created to connect local communities with international volunteers and professionals. From education to healthcare, from digital development to agriculture, we saw firsthand the powerful impact that skilled individuals could make not just by giving money, but by giving their time, heart, and expertise.
In villages and towns across Arusha, Kilimanjaro, and Manyara, we noticed schools with few teachers, hospitals in need of trained hands, youth eager for mentorship, and local leaders with big dreams but little technical support. At the same time, around the world, there were people searching for meaningful ways to contribute people with skills, passion, and a desire to serve.
So we built a bridge.
And we called it Community Friends Tanzania.
Our mission is to bring volunteers and professionals from all over the world to walk side by side with Tanzanian communities. Whether you’re a teacher, nurse, social worker, artist, IT expert, farmer, engineer, or student your presence here matters.
When you join us, you’re not just helping you’re becoming part of a real exchange. You’ll stay with welcoming host families, learn local traditions, explore Tanzania’s beauty, and most importantly, create change that lasts.

is the visionary founder of Community Friends Tanzania driven by a passion for creating social impact and empowering communities. With a strong background working with children with intellectual disabilities especially autism she leads with innovation strategic planning, and a commitment making changes
